The End of the World? Meh...but check out these photos from the 5k!

So here I am typing what could be the last words of mankind...okay...maybe not that extreme...as we all know some religious persons feel that the bible guarantees that the world will end as we know it on May 21st at 6pm. It GUARANTEES it folks! So is that EST or PST? I think I will wake up Sunday and find nothing has changed and the dogs will still want to go outside and want to go for a run.

Chances are we will read about it, or hear about, how those that did believe this now have sold everything and have nothing and realize they are in a bit of a jam now. The guy who created this whole concept will come out and say "oops...my bad..." and then say he meant 3011...well heck sure by then I will be dead anyways so big deal.

It is amazing that so many people can be led to believe something that just doesn't make logical sense. Of course those that do believe it have a tendency to not rationalize things out as such. Don't fall for stories that just don't have a solid ground, or make any sense. Maybe it is because I have never been grounded into one religion. I studied a bunch and came to the decision that they pretty much all are the same and just worded differently to which ever point they are trying to make. I always thought if all these religions are to believe in peace and all why are there so many fights and wars about them. Well cause per the norm for the human race if you don't like someone suddenly your god says smite them. Most people are greedy and selfish...and that is something that is taught to them by the people who brought them up. It's a ongoing cycle and in my humble opinion religion should only be used to teach people good values and not things like "smite thy enemy". I mean come on people...can't we all just get along?

There I have ranted...now check out these photos from last weeks Pet Palooza 5k! A race where it's not about the human and more about the dog. Each person can run with one dog. So the wife and I decided two of ours will be enjoying some quality time and boy did they! Come on...these photos bring a smile to ya don't they? Those are some happy dogs and tired humans! See you all next time!
